Spring and Baseball
Tis' another spring and yet another baseball season opens up. Molly and I went to our first opening day to the Tigers. It was a lot of fun. There is nothing better than watching a baseball game. It got me thinking to how much baseball is like life. There some great moments, horrible moments, slow/boring moments and exciting moments that leave to a point where you cannot take it anymore. I feel so happy when this time of year comes around. I have many terrific memories of watching the game and of course I kept score. I hope everyone can find something to feel great about as baseball makes me feel.

Matt.... what does "Locke" mean?
ReplyDeleteand how do we make the time correct on our posts?
I changed it to the eastern time zone. I had not noticed that it was set to the west coast time, sorry about that. I cannot answer to what locke means.....I think it has something to do with a character from one of Matt's books.
ReplyDeleteThanks Molly! Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteTina, my nickname is from the British Philosopher John Locke. One of his famous writings was the "Two Treatise of Government", which was the basis Thomas Jefferson used for our Constitution. He also helped form the thought of empiricism. This theory basically states of knowledge which asserts that knowledge arises from experience. That will get you thinking won't it?
ReplyDeleteHOLY cow Locke!!!! Alrighty then. How many people have called you a "brain child?" LOL.... hmmm... this blog could get intimidating! LOL
